Rhianna represents employers in litigation and administrative proceedings before federal and state courts and agencies involving claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other employment laws. She is committed to helping clients make informed decisions, minimize risk, and achieve practical, business-focused solutions.
Rhianna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Science from the University of Missouri. While in law school, she developed a strong interest in labor and employment law through her academic and extracurricular involvement. She served as a research assistant to Associate Dean Emily Hughes, a student ambassador for the College of Law, and a student writer for the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice. She was also a member of the second-place writing team in the 2023 College Athletics Infractions Competition Hearing, represented graduate and professional students in the Iowa Student Bar Association, and competed in the Van Oosterhout-Baskerville Moot Court Competition.
