Piotr has represented employers in federal and state courts, arbitration tribunals, and before administrative agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), New York State Division of Human Rights (NYDHR), Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), and Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), among others.
Prior to joining Troester Sharpe, Piotr worked as a student attorney in the Veterans Legal Clinic, where he represented military veterans in civil litigation, including in a lawsuit against the State of Michigan pursuant to constitutional rights to due process and protection from cruel and unusual punishment and excessive fines, which resulted in a change to state law. He was also the Selections Editor for the Michigan Journal of Gender.
