Dakota represents employers in litigation and administrative proceedings involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. She is committed to providing clear, strategic guidance that supports her clients’ operational goals and legal obligations.
Dakota earned her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law, where she clerked in the City of Chicago’s Labor Division, served as an Administrative Editor for the Elder Law Journal, and received the Rickert Award for Excellence in Legal Writing. Prior to joining Troester Sharpe, she practiced family law litigation, gaining valuable courtroom experience and a strong foundation in client advocacy.
